Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga 14" 4K Touch

This new 14-inch convertible laptop combines a 3840 x 2160 touchscreen with an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8665U processor reaching 4.80 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 16GB of DDR3 SODIMM memory and a 1TB SATA SSD under Windows 10 Pro.

Suited for Mobile Professionals Needing Pen Input

The integrated Intel UHD 620 graphics and 16GB DDR3 limit this device to office productivity, web browsing and light creative work with the included active pen. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance or user-replaceable memory should look at other models.

16GB DDR3 SODIMM Memory Configuration

The system provides 16GB of DDR3 memory in SODIMM form factor; this generation is not interchangeable with newer DDR standards. Verify that your workflow and any planned upgrades align with this specific memory type.

Questions about this item

Will the 1TB SATA SSD work in my older laptop that only has a 2.5" SATA bay?

This ThinkPad X1 Yoga uses an M.2 form-factor SATA SSD, not a 2.5" drive, so it will not fit a traditional 2.5" SATA bay without an adapter.

How can I verify the 3840x2160 touch panel is running at its native 4K resolution after setup?

Open Windows Display Settings and confirm the resolution slider shows 3840 x 2160 as the recommended setting; the touch test in the Pen & Windows Ink section will also confirm touch input.

Does the box include the Active Pen and 65W power supply, or must I buy them separately?

The Active Pen and 65W power supply are included in the box; the only item not supplied is any additional DDR3 SODIMM memory if you wish to expand beyond the installed 16GB.
