12.5" Touch Business Laptop

The Lenovo ThinkPad X220 is a 12.5-inch touchscreen laptop built for mobile professionals. It runs Windows 8.1 Pro on an Intel Core i7-2640M processor with a 3.50 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 8GB of DDR3 memory and a 250GB hard drive. A digitiser pen is included for direct screen input.

Suits mobile workers, not media creators

This laptop suits professionals who need a durable, portable device for office applications, video calls and note-taking on the touch display. The HD 1366x768 panel and shared graphics memory make it unsuitable for buyers who need colour-accurate screens or discrete GPU performance. Users requiring solid-state speed or modern wireless standards should look elsewhere.

250GB mechanical drive defines responsiveness

The single specification that decides fit is the 250GB hard drive. It provides ample document storage but lacks the access speed of an SSD, so boot times and application launches remain limited by mechanical latency. Buyers who prioritise instant responsiveness over raw capacity will find this constraint decisive.
