Business Touch Ultraportable

The Lenovo ThinkPad X220 is a 12.5-inch business laptop equipped with a touch-sensitive display and stylus support. It ships with Windows 8.1 Professional 64-bit and an Intel Core i7-2640M processor reaching 3.50 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 8GB of DDR3 memory and a 2TB solid-state drive for storage. It targets mobile professionals who need pen input and a durable chassis.

Connectivity and Display Constraints

Wireless connectivity relies on 802.11b/g/n, which caps practical throughput well below modern 802.11ac or ax networks. The integrated graphics use shared system memory and drive a 1366x768 panel, limiting external display resolution over the single VGA and DisplayPort outputs. Only three USB ports are available, all conforming to the USB 3.0 standard. Gigabit LAN provides wired fallback.

Storage and Memory Ceiling

The 2TB SSD represents the total internal storage capacity; no secondary drive bay exists for expansion. System memory is fixed at 8GB of DDR3 with no accessible slots for upgrades. Buyers who need more storage or memory must use external devices. The Windows 8.1 Pro licence is tied to this hardware generation.
