ThinkPad X220 Touch for business users

This Lenovo ThinkPad X220 is a 12.5 inch touchscreen laptop built for mobile professionals who need a durable, portable system. It ships new with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit pre-installed. The integrated pen support and HD display suit field work and client presentations alike.

16 GB DDR3 memory and Core i7-2640M processor

The single specification that decides fit is the 16 GB of DDR3 system memory paired with an Intel Core i7-2640M dual-core processor reaching 3.50 GHz turbo frequency. Buyers who want more storage capacity than the 160 GB SSD provides should look elsewhere. The shared video memory also limits graphics-intensive workloads.

Simple setup with docking and legacy ports

The laptop arrives ready to use; just power on and complete the Windows 10 Pro configuration. A single docking connector allows quick desk integration with compatible ThinkPad T, L and W series docks. One VGA and one DisplayPort handle external monitors, while three USB ports cover peripherals. What usually goes wrong is overlooking the HD 1366x768 resolution ceiling when connecting larger displays.
