12.5" HD IPS Touch Ultrabook

The Lenovo ThinkPad X240 is a 12.5-inch business ultrabook with an HD IPS touch display, Intel Core i7-4600U processor, 8GB DDR3 RAM and a 2TB SSD. It ships with Windows 7 Professional and includes a fingerprint reader, backlit keyboard and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. The chassis is MIL-SPEC tested for durability.

Suits mobile professionals needing touch input

This laptop suits users who want a compact, durable device with touchscreen capability for on-site work or travel. Buyers who need a higher-resolution panel, more than 8GB of memory or a larger screen should consider other options. The HD 1366 x 768 resolution limits multi-window productivity.

2TB SSD capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the 2TB solid-state drive, which provides substantial local storage for large project files and offline media. If your workflow depends on cloud storage or external drives, a smaller drive may suffice. The 2TB SSD is the defining capacity figure for this configuration.
