Built for business mobility

The ThinkPad X9 14 Aura Edition is a 14-inch Windows 11 Pro laptop powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 268V processor with integrated Arc 140V graphics. It targets professionals who need AI-ready performance, a colour-accurate OLED touchscreen and long battery life in a 2.74 lb chassis. The 32 GB LPDDR5x memory and 2 TB NVMe SSD are soldered and non-upgradable, so the specification you buy is fixed for the device lifespan.

Installation and common issues

The unit ships new with the original seal opened only for factory configuration, so no user assembly is required. Memory and storage cannot be upgraded after purchase because both are soldered to the mainboard. The 65 W adapter supports rapid charging to 80 % in 60 minutes, but the battery is a customer-replaceable unit if service is ever needed.

Deciding specification

The 14-inch 2.8K OLED panel delivers 2880 x 1800 resolution, 100 % DCI-P3 coverage, 500 nits brightness and a 30-120 Hz variable refresh rate with HDR 600 True Black certification. Buyers who need a higher refresh rate for competitive gaming or a larger screen for multi-window timelines should consider other form factors.
