Product identity

The Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 12 is a 12.5-inch convertible ultrabook with a 360-degree hinge, Intel Core i7-4500U processor, 8GB DDR3 memory and a 256GB SSD. It ships new with Windows 8.1 Pro and includes an active digitizer pen for the 1920x1080 IPS touchscreen.

Compatibility checklist

Verify that Windows 8.1 Pro meets your software requirements and that Bluetooth 4.0 covers the peripherals you plan to connect. The unit provides two USB ports and one HDMI output, so confirm those match your docking or display needs. Memory uses DDR3 in two slots; storage is a single 256GB SSD with no additional drive bay.

Best fit and limits

Suits mobile professionals who want pen input, tablet, tent and stand modes alongside a traditional keyboard. Not suited for buyers who need a newer operating system, more than two USB ports, a larger screen, discrete graphics or user-upgradeable storage beyond the single SSD slot.
