Purpose-built video-conferencing desktop

The Lenovo ThinkSmart Core Gen 2 12WE000BUS is a compact desktop computer designed specifically for meeting-room video conferencing. It ships as a dedicated appliance for Microsoft Teams Rooms rather than a general-purpose workstation. No monitor is included in the package.

Simple wired setup with fixed I/O

Installation relies on standard wired connections: one Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 port, one HDMI input, two HDMI outputs and USB ports. The fixed port selection means you cannot add extra video outputs or network links without external adapters. Cable routing is straightforward but limited to the provided interfaces.

Suited for Teams Rooms deployments

This unit fits organisations rolling out Microsoft Teams Rooms on certified hardware with a single display or dual-display layout. Buyers who need a general office PC, flexible expansion slots, or support for other conferencing platforms should look at a different system.
