Portable Everyday Carry Light

The Lepro LE1000 is a compact aluminium flashlight measuring 4.2 inches long and 1.2 inches in diameter. It weighs 128 grams and fits easily in a pocket or small bag. The IPX4 rating protects against splashing water from any direction. Three AAA alkaline batteries are included so it works straight from the package.

Upgrade From Basic Penlights

This model replaces dimmer key-ring lights or older incandescent torches that struggle to throw a beam beyond a few metres. The zoomable head lets you switch between a 492-foot spot beam and a wide flood beam without carrying two tools. The jump is worth it when you need adjustable focus for both close work and distance spotting in a single hand-held unit.

Sustained Output Behaviour

At full brightness the LED delivers 140 lumens and is rated for 30000 hours of emitter life. The aluminium body acts as a heat sink to maintain steady output during extended use rather than fading after a short burst. Zoom adjustment remains smooth even after prolonged operation and the skid-proof finish keeps the light secure in wet or cold hands.

Questions about this item

How long is the LE1000 and will it fit in a standard pocket?

The flashlight measures 4.2 inches in length and 1.2 inches in diameter, weighing 128 grams, so it fits easily in most pockets or small bags.

How do I change the beam from flood to spot on the zoomable head?

Pull the head forward to narrow the beam into a spot, or push it back to widen into a flood; the mechanism slides smoothly but requires a firm grip to overcome the O-ring seal.

Which batteries does the LE1000 use and are they replaceable?

It runs on three AAA alkaline batteries, which are included and user-replaceable by unscrewing the tail cap.
