LetLinkSo MCIO x8 to 2 EDSFF Cable
The LetLinkSo LLS-CB-1MC2ED-01 is a 50 cm MCIO x8 to dual EDSFF cable built for PCIe 5.0 links at 32 GT/s per lane. It connects one MCIO x8 host port to two EDSFF drive bays and carries a 15-pin power path alongside the data lanes. Copper conductors and reinforced connectors are used throughout.
Suits E1.S, E1.L, E3.S and E3.L drive installations
This cable fits builders adding EDSFF solid-state drives to servers or storage enclosures that expose an MCIO x8 backplane connector. It is not for U.2 or U.3 bays, M.2 slots, or systems that only offer SlimSAS or OCuLink host interfaces. Installers must align the directional arrows on both drive and cable to avoid damage.
PCIe 5.0 at 32 GT/s per lane over eight lanes
The single specification that decides fit is the 32 GT/s per lane rate across an x8 link, which requires a PCIe 5.0 host port and PCIe 5.0-capable EDSFF drives. If the host or drives operate at a lower generation the link will train down, but the cable is validated for the full 5.0 signal budget.

Questions about this item
One MCIO x8 cable or two separate MCIO x4 cables for my EDSFF drives?
This cable splits one MCIO x8 connector into two EDSFF connectors, so a single 8-lane port drives both E1.S, E1.L, E3.S or E3.L SSDs.
What does 32 GT/s per lane deliver inside my server?
Each of the eight lanes runs at 32 GT/s, giving the full PCIe 5.0 x8 bandwidth to the two EDSFF drives without sharing lanes.
Does the MCIO x8 interface limit throughput compared with a native EDSFF backplane?
The MCIO x8 connector carries eight PCIe 5.0 lanes at 32 GT/s each, matching the electrical spec of a direct backplane connection.
