Lexmark CS331dw Colour Laser Printer

The Lexmark CS331dw is a colour laser printer built for small offices or workgroups that need reliable duplex output. It prints at 26 ppm in both mono and colour at 600 dpi resolution. The automatic duplex unit handles two-sided jobs without manual intervention. This device suits teams that value consistent text and graphics quality over high-volume throughput.

Network setup and driver installation

Connect the printer via Ethernet or USB, then run the Lexmark installer on each workstation to add the print queue. The control panel walks through Wi-Fi configuration if a cable run is not practical. Common issues include mismatched paper-size settings that cause the duplex unit to jam, and outdated firmware that drops network discovery. Keep the driver package current to avoid spooler errors.

Check power and media compatibility

Verify that your office supplies a standard mains voltage outlet near the intended location. Confirm that the paper stock you use falls within the supported weight range for automatic duplexing. Ensure the print server or host PC runs a supported operating system version before ordering. Network administrators should reserve a static IP address if DHCP reservations are not used.
