An 800 MHz dual-core processor and 512MB of memory drive a first-page time of 4.8 seconds. Standard input holds 650 sheets across two trays, expandable to 4400 sheets. Output stacks up to 550 sheets standard or 2550 maximum.

No toner, drum, software or docs

The unit ships with only the printer and a power cord. No toner cartridge, imaging drum, software or documentation is included. Buyers must source compatible 521H high-yield or 521 standard-yield toner cartridges and a 520Z imaging unit before the first page can print. This suits IT teams that already stock Lexmark supplies or prefer to choose yield levels separately.

No automatic duplex printing
