Teal Performance Velvet Side Chairs

The LexMod Parcel side chairs arrive as a pair of teal upholstered seats built for dining rooms, living rooms or office settings. Each chair uses stain-resistant performance velvet over dense foam padding and shows nailhead trim along the silhouette. Solid rubberwood legs provide the structural base.

Thermals noise and power

As stationary furniture the chairs generate no heat, emit no sound and draw no electricity. The velvet surface resists spills and the foam retains its shape through daily use. Rubberwood legs stay stable without mechanical wear.

Build fit and assembly

The set requires assembly before use. Each chair measures 24 length by 19 width by 39.5 height with a seat height of 19.5 and a cushion thickness of 5.5. Leg height is 14 and the backrest reaches 21.5 high by 16 wide. Rated capacity is 285 lbs per chair and the pair weighs 29 total.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the 14" rubberwood legs and what step do people often miss?

Bolt each leg into the pre-drilled corner brackets using the supplied hardware; the step most often missed is hand-tightening all four legs first, then levelling the 39.5"H frame on the floor before final tightening.

What upkeep will the stain-resistant performance velvet and dense foam padding need over time?

Vacuum the 19"W seat and 16"W backrest weekly with an upholstery brush, blot spills immediately with a clean cloth, and rotate the 5.5"H cushion periodically to even out foam compression.

At what load does the 285 lbs weight capacity become the limiting factor during daily use?

The 285 lbs per chair rating is the first limit reached; sustained loads near that figure will stress the rubberwood leg joints and foam cushion before any other component shows wear.
