Large-Format Interactive Display

The LG 98TR3DK-B is a 98-inch UHD interactive digital signage display built for business and educational environments. Its 4K Ultra HD resolution of 3840 x 2160 delivers sharp visuals for presentations and collaborative work. The integrated IR touch technology supports 20 simultaneous touch points for smooth multi-user interaction. This new display runs on the webOS 6.0 platform for straightforward content management.

Thermal and Power Profile

Designed for continuous 24/7 operation, the unit is engineered to handle sustained use in demanding settings. The IPS panel technology maintains consistent colour and wide viewing angles without the need for active cooling noise in typical installations. Power draw is rated at 232 watts during normal operation. The anti-glare coating reduces reflections, lowering the need for high brightness in lit rooms.

Deciding Specification

The 20-point IR multi-touch capability determines whether this display suits your workflow. Spaces requiring simultaneous annotation by multiple users will benefit directly from this input density. Buyers who only need passive viewing or single-user touch should consider non-interactive alternatives. The 98-inch diagonal and 4K resolution support large-room visibility for group collaboration.

Questions about this item

How is the 98-inch panel mounted and what step do installers often miss?

The display uses a standard VESA mount pattern; the step often missed is verifying that the wall or cart can support the full weight before hanging the unit.

What maintenance will the IR touch layer need over time?

Clean the anti-glare surface with a lint-free cloth and approved solution; the IR sensors have no user-replaceable parts and require no calibration under normal use.

Which limit appears first when the screen runs 24/7 at full brightness?

The panel is rated for continuous 24/7 operation, so the first practical limit is typically ambient heat buildup around the enclosure rather than the display itself.
