Ultra-light 17-inch laptop for mobile professionals

The LG Gram 17Z90SVAPC8U1 weighs very little for a 17.0-inch device, making it practical for people who carry their computer daily. A Core Ultra 7 processor and 32 GB of memory handle office suites, video calls and light creative work without slowdown. Windows 11 Pro and a hardware TPM satisfy typical corporate security policies.

Replaces heavier 17-inch notebooks

Moving from a traditional 17-inch chassis to this Gram design cuts bag weight dramatically, which pays off on commutes, flights or campus walks. The jump is worth it if you need the larger 2560 x 1600 workspace but refuse the usual bulk penalty. Buyers who want more storage or a discrete GPU for heavy rendering should look elsewhere.

Straightforward setup with one common snag

Windows 11 Pro runs the initial configuration wizard, joins a domain or Azure AD, and enables BitLocker using the built-in TPM without extra steps. The single HDMI port connects an external monitor instantly. The only frequent hiccup is forgetting to disable the webcam privacy shutter before the first video call.
