5K 165Hz Mini LED IPS Gaming Monitor

The LG UltraGear evo AI 27GM950B-B is a 27-inch gaming monitor built around a Mini LED IPS panel. It delivers a native 5120 x 2880 resolution at 165 Hz with a 1 ms response time and VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification. Adaptive sync supports both FreeSync Premium and G-Sync Compatible operation.

Dual-mode 5K detail or QHD speed

This display suits competitive players who want ultra-sharp 5K imagery at 165 Hz and the option to switch to a QHD mode at 330 Hz for higher motion clarity. Buyers who only need standard 4K or 1440p panels at lower cost should consider other models.

9,216 Mini LEDs with 1.5× more dimming zones

The backlight uses 9,216 Mini LEDs arranged in 1.5× more local-dimming zones than the previous design, enabling the 1,250-nit peak brightness that drives the HDR 1000 rating. This specification determines whether the monitor meets a user's high-dynamic-range expectations.
