Video wall display for multi-screen installations

The LG 55VSM5J-H is a 55" commercial display built for video wall arrays. Its 0.44 mm even bezel keeps visual interruption minimal across tiled screens. Full HD IPS panel delivers 500 nits brightness for clear visibility in well-lit indoor spaces. Integrated webOS smart signage platform and 8 GB storage allow standalone content playback without an external player.

Check mounting depth and signal sources before

The cabinet depth is 86.5 mm so verify that your mounting structure and ventilation allowance accommodate this dimension. Confirm your source devices can output 1920 x 1080 over HDMI, DisplayPort or DVI-D as these are the available video inputs. RS232C and RJ45 ports provide control and network integration; ensure your management software supports these interfaces.

Steady 500 nits output during continuous operation

The panel maintains its rated 500 cd/m² brightness over long duty cycles typical of signage deployments. Smart Calibration keeps colour uniformity consistent across multiple units without manual re-adjustment. Fanless design relies on passive thermal management within the 86.5 mm chassis so ambient temperature should stay within the manufacturer's specified operating range. webOS platform handles scheduled playlists reliably for 24/7 workloads.

Questions about this item

Does the 55VSM5J-H include any cables or mounting hardware, or must I buy them separately?

The display ships with the panel and standard accessories; HDMI, DP, DVI-D, USB, RS232C, RJ45, audio and IR cables are not included and must be purchased separately.

The 55VSM5J-H is listed with a single 55" 1920 x 1080 configuration — are there other sizes or resolutions in this series?

This model is the 55-inch Full HD variant; other screen sizes or resolutions belong to different LG video-wall series and are not part of the 55VSM5J-H SKU.

What does the 500 nits brightness mean for visibility in a brightly lit lobby?

At 500 cd/m² the panel remains clearly readable under strong indoor lighting, and the 0.44 mm even bezel keeps multi-screen images uniform across a video wall.
