65-inch OLED TV for home cinema

This 65-inch OLED TV delivers perfect black levels through individually illuminating pixels that can brighten, dim and power off completely. Infinite contrast and over a billion colors create a theater-quality picture at home. Dolby Vision HDR support adds brilliant highlights and deep shadow detail. The set carries Ultra HD Premium certification for verified performance.

Limits of OLED HDR implementation

Peak brightness is constrained by the organic pixel structure, so very bright scenes in HDR content may not reach the intensity of high-output LCD alternatives. Dolby Vision metadata is supported, but the panel cannot sustain full-screen white at maximum luminance for extended periods. Viewers in brightly lit rooms may notice reduced perceived contrast compared to controlled lighting.

Pixel-level dimming decides suitability

Each pixel generates its own light and can switch off entirely, producing true black without backlight bleed or local-dimming zones. This makes the TV ideal for dark-room movie watching where shadow detail and contrast matter most. Buyers who need sustained high brightness for daytime sports or well-lit living rooms should consider other technologies.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 65-inch OLED or a smaller size for my room?

The 65-inch panel delivers perfect black and infinite contrast at this screen size. Choose based on viewing distance; larger screens fill more of your field of view for cinematic Dolby Vision HDR content.

What does "infinite contrast" actually look like in my living room?

Each pixel switches off completely, so dark scenes show true black instead of grey glow. Shadow detail stays visible beside bright highlights, giving Dolby Vision films the depth the director intended.

Which HDR formats does the TV support and what do they add?

It supports standard HDR and Dolby Vision. Dolby Vision uses dynamic metadata to optimise brightness scene by scene, so you see richer colour volume and brighter specular highlights on the 65-inch OLED panel.
