Product Identity

The LG Electronics BU60RG is a 4K DLP home-theatre projector designed for dedicated cinema rooms and professional signage installations. It delivers native 3840 x 2160 resolution with a 16:9 aspect ratio and scales images from 40 to 300 inches.

Thermals Noise Power

The laser light source is rated for 20000 hours of operation, reducing lamp-replacement cycles and maintaining consistent output. Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.0 ports, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, RJ45, RS232C in/out and a 3.5 mm audio output.

Bundled Impact

The unit runs webOS 6.0 for direct app access and network control via RJ45 or RS232C, simplifying integration into managed AV systems. Buyers who need edge blending, tile mode, wireless screen sharing or auto keystone correction will find those functions absent.

Questions about this item

How do I install the BU60RG and what throw-ratio step do people get wrong?

Place the projector so the throw distance matches the 1.3 to 2.08 ratio for your desired image width; the common mistake is mounting at a fixed distance without checking the ratio first.

What maintenance will the BU60RG laser light source need later?

The laser is rated for 20000 hours of operation; after that the light source will need replacement, while air filters should be cleaned periodically.

What limit appears first on the BU60RG during sustained use?

The 1000 lumen brightness ceiling is the first hard limit; contrast stays at 3000000:1 but output cannot exceed that level.
