17-inch Copilot+ laptop for mobile AI workloads

The LG gram Pro 17 combines an Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processor with 32GB of LPDDR5X memory and a 2TB dual NVMe configuration in a 3.30 lb chassis. Windows 11 Home and the Copilot+ designation indicate on-device AI acceleration for compatible applications. The 17.0-inch WQXGA IPS touchscreen covers a 2560 x 1600 resolution at 350 nits. This specification targets professionals who need a large display and integrated AI processing away from a desk.

Sustained performance

The Intel Core Ultra 7 355 uses eight cores with a 4.7 GHz P-core maximum and 12MB Smart Cache to maintain throughput during extended AI inference or multitasking sessions. Dual-channel LPDDR5X at 7500MHz feeds the integrated Intel graphics without discrete GPU overhead. Two Gen4 NVMe drives in RAID-capable slots provide continued read-write headroom for large datasets. The 77Wh battery supports long unplugged periods under mixed loads.

Verify port mix, memory permanence

Two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports sit alongside two USB4 Gen3x2 Type-C ports that deliver Power Delivery, DisplayPort and Thunderbolt 4 signalling. HDMI 2.1 outputs 4K at 60Hz for external monitors. The 32GB LPDDR5X is soldered and cannot be upgraded after purchase. Confirm that your peripherals match the available interfaces and that 2560 x 1600 scaling suits your workflow before ordering.

Questions about this item

How loud or hot does the Intel Core Ultra 7 355 get when the gram Pro 17 runs AI workloads all day on the 77Wh battery?

The 355 processor has 8 cores with a 4.7 GHz P-core maximum and 12MB cache, while the 77Wh lithium-ion cell powers the 350-nit 17-inch touch display and dual SSD storage.

Which cables or peripherals must I already own to use the two USB 4 Gen3x2 Type-C ports with Power Delivery and Thunderbolt 4?

Any USB-C cable rated for Thunderbolt 4 or USB 4 Gen3x2 will carry 4K 60 Hz video, data and charging through those ports; a standard HDMI 2.1 cable works the HDMI output.

Will my existing USB 3.2 Gen1 devices and older HDMI monitors work with the gram Pro 17 without adapters?

Two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports accept legacy peripherals directly, and the HDMI 2.1 port drives 4K 60 Hz displays using a regular HDMI cable.
