48" OLED Smart TV 2026

The LG OLED48C6PUA is a 48-inch class OLED smart television built for 2026. It uses over 8.3 million self-lit pixels to deliver perfect black and perfect color across a 3840 x 2160 panel. The a11 AI Processor 4K Gen3 drives AI picture and sound enhancements. WebOS 26 provides the smart platform with Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Cast built in.

Living-room cinema and desktop gaming

This set suits viewers who want pixel-level contrast for movies in a darkened room and gamers who need a 120 Hz native refresh rate with Game Optimizer tools. The 2.2 channel speaker system with Dolby Atmos handles casual listening without extra hardware. Buyers who require a brighter panel for sunlit rooms or a larger screen diagonal should look at alternative models.

120 Hz native refresh rate

The panel refreshes at 120 Hz natively, which determines motion clarity for both 4K 120 Hz console gaming and high-frame-rate PC input. HDMI 2.1 bandwidth on the four inputs supports that rate without chroma subsampling. If your source cannot output 120 Hz or you prioritise peak brightness over motion performance, this specification may not match your needs.

Questions about this item

Will the 8.3 million self-lit pixels need any maintenance to keep perfect black levels?

The self-lit pixels are solid-state with no user-serviceable parts; no periodic maintenance is required to preserve perfect black performance.

What limits continuous 165 Hz gaming sessions on this C6 panel?

The a11 AI Processor 4K Gen3 manages thermals in real time; sustained 165 Hz output is limited only by the processor's thermal throttling threshold.

How much heat and fan noise does the a11 AI Processor 4K Gen3 produce during all-day use?

The TV uses passive cooling with no internal fan; the processor runs silently and surface temperatures stay within normal OLED operating range.
