Two Thunderbolt 4 ports and HDMI

Dual Thunderbolt 4 connections supply 65 W Type-C charging, external GPU enclosures and dual 4K displays while freeing legacy USB-A ports for peripherals. HDMI adds a direct link to projectors or secondary monitors without adapters. WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 handle wireless docking and accessories.

Questions about this item

At what temperature does the Ultra 7-258V throttle under sustained load?

The processor reaches a maximum turbo frequency of 4.8 GHz; thermal throttling behaviour is managed by the firmware and cooling design of this 17.0" chassis.

How loud are the fans and what is the surface temperature during an all-day workload?

Fan noise and chassis temperature depend on the workload; the 65 W USB-C adapter and 76 Whr battery are sized for the Ultra 7-258V and Arc graphics in this thin-and-light design.

Which peripherals or docks must I already own to use the two Thunderbolt 4 ports?

Any Thunderbolt 4 or USB-C device — monitors, docks, storage or eGPUs — will connect directly to the two ports; no proprietary accessories are required.
