Design and Front I/O

The Lian Li V100X is a black ATX mid-tower case built from steel and tempered glass. It features frameless glass panels on the front and side, plus a slanted PSU shroud that doubles as a display platform for collectibles. An integrated 26-LED ARGB strip provides addressable lighting controllable through motherboard software.

Cooling capacity and GPU clearance

The interior accepts graphics cards up to 420 mm long and CPU coolers up to 178 mm tall. Top mounts support 280 mm or 360 mm radiators, while fan locations include three 120 mm or two 140 mm positions up top, three on the side, two on the bottom, and one 120 mm or 140 mm at the rear. Builders who need support for longer cards or taller coolers should look elsewhere.

Front panel connectivity

The top I/O panel supplies two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.1 Type C port, and an audio jack. No additional internal headers or rear I/O cutouts beyond the standard ATX layout are described in the specifications.

Questions about this item

Which version of the Lian Li V100X should I pick if I want the built-in display platform and ARGB strip?

The V100X model includes both the slanted front PSU shroud with a dedicated display platform for figures and an integrated 26-LED ARGB strip controllable via motherboard software.

What does the 420 mm maximum GPU length mean once the card is installed?

It allows graphics cards up to 420 mm long to fit with the front glass panel closed, so most current triple-fan models will install without modification.

What front-panel USB standard does the case provide and what transfer speed does it cap at?

The front I/O includes two USB 3.0 ports and one USB 3.1 Type-C port, so the Type-C connection tops out at the 3.1 Gen 1 5 Gbit/s rate.
