LIANGSTAR K6 USB Microphone

The LIANGSTAR K6 is a USB omnidirectional condenser microphone built for desktop recording and streaming. It captures sound in a 360 degree pattern with a sensitivity of 52 decibels. The unit includes a smart chip for noise reduction and a built-in sound card for driver-free operation. It suits podcasters, gamers and remote workers who need clear voice pickup.

Plug-and-play upgrade for basic headsets

This microphone replaces a headset boom mic or a laptop's built-in array with a dedicated desktop capsule. The jump is worth it when you need 360 degree voice capture without wearing a headset. A mute button and volume control give instant hands-on adjustment during live sessions. The flexible stand lets you position the mic at any angle up to 360 degrees.

Check USB port and OS version before ordering

Your device must provide a standard USB-A port for the included cable. The manufacturer lists compatibility with Windows 7 8 10 11 Mac OS PS4 and PS5. No extra drivers or external power supply are required. Verify that your operating system matches the listed versions so the built-in sound card is recognised.

Questions about this item

What desk space does the 3.7 x 5.7 x 2.4 cm stand need?

The tabletop stand footprint is 3.7 cm wide by 5.7 cm deep and stands 2.4 cm tall, so it fits on any small desk or shelf without crowding other gear.

How do I get the K6 running on a PC or PS5, and what step do users often miss?

Plug the USB cable into the computer or console — no driver install is required — then press the one-button mute once to unmute; forgetting to unmute is the most common reason buyers hear no audio.

Will the USB cable or mute button wear out and need replacing?

The only supplied part is the USB cable; if it frays or the connector loosens over time, a standard USB-A to device cable can be swapped in, while the built-in mute button is solid-state and not user-serviceable.
