USB Lavalier for Content Creators

The Movo M1 is an omnidirectional lavalier microphone with a USB connector for laptops and personal computers. It targets podcasters, streamers, gamers and video tutorial makers who need a simple voice-capture solution. The kit includes the microphone, an aluminum lapel clip and two foam windscreens. No drivers or software are required to operate it.

Consistent Clarity During Long Sessions

The omnidirectional polar pattern captures sound evenly from all directions, so voice level remains steady when the wearer turns their head. A sensitivity of -30 decibels and a signal-to-noise ratio of 78 db keep background hiss low during extended recordings. The 18 KHz frequency response reproduces speech detail without harshness. Power comes directly from the USB port, so there is no battery to drain.

Clip-On Simplicity with a 20-Foot Cable

The 6m cable plugs into any free USB port and reaches across a desk or presentation space without an extension. The aluminum flap clip grips clothing securely, while the two foam windscreens reduce plosives and wind noise. Users should route the cord to avoid tripping and confirm the USB port supplies sufficient power for the 1000 ohm impedance.

Questions about this item

How much audible noise does the M1 add when I leave it recording all day?

The microphone has an audible noise rating of 78 db and a signal-to-noise ratio of 78 db, so background hiss stays at that level during continuous use.

What port must my computer have for the USB-M1 to work?

A standard USB Type-A port is required; the microphone draws power from the bus and needs no driver installation.

Will the 20-foot cable reach my desktop tower if I sit away from it?

The 20-foot (6 m) cable is designed for exactly that — plug the USB end into the rear of the tower and the lavalier clip reaches your lapel while you move around.
