LifThor 7.9 inch Tablet Sunhood

The LifThor 7.9 inch Sunhood is a drone accessory built to reduce screen glare during outdoor flights. It uses vegan leather and silicone to shield the display from bright light while protecting the surface from scratches and dust. A hook and loop strap secures it to compatible LifThor tablet holders for quick attachment.

For pilots flying in direct sunlight

Drone operators who struggle to see their tablet screen in bright conditions will benefit from the glare reduction and screen protection this sunhood provides. It is not suited for pilots using tablets outside the 7.9, 10.5 or 12.9 inch sizes listed, or for those whose holder is not a LifThor model. Buyers needing a universal fit for third-party mounts should look elsewhere.

7.9 inch tablet compatibility

This sunhood is sized for 7.9 inch tablets and also supports 10.5 inch and 12.9 inch models when paired with the appropriate LifThor holder. The hook and loop strap system allows fast installation on those specific holders. Confirm your tablet size and holder brand match the supported range before purchase.

Questions about this item

Does the 7.9 inch sunhood stay secure on the tablet holder during extended flights?

The hook and loop strap system locks the sunhood firmly to any LifThor tablet holder, so vibration from long flights will not shift or loosen the fit.

Will the vegan leather and silicone trap heat against the tablet screen in direct sun?

The materials shade the display without sealing it; air still circulates around the edges, preventing heat build-up during all-day outdoor use.

Which LifThor tablet holder do I need before this sunhood will attach?

Any LifThor holder built for DJI Mavic, Spark or Autel EVO controllers accepts the sunhood's strap mounting directly.
