Lincoln 84378 Lubrication Trolley Overview

The Lincoln 84378 is a steel drum dolly designed to transport 55-gallon containers. It supports plastic or steel drums up to 24 1/4 inches in diameter and 33 1/2 inches in height. The frame uses 16-gauge steel with a powder-coated finish for durability. A fixed rim catch and chime securing mechanism hold the container in place during movement.

Suitable Applications and Limits

This trolley suits workshops or industrial sites moving heavy lubricant drums on smooth floors. The 400-pound load capacity handles full 55-gallon containers with ease. It is not intended for uneven outdoor terrain or for containers exceeding the stated diameter and height limits. Buyers needing adjustable decks or different wheel configurations should consider other equipment.

Capacity and Handling Headroom

The unit accommodates standard 55-gallon drums with a maximum diameter of 24 1/4 inches. Its 400-pound rating provides headroom for dense fluids and heavy containers. Eight-inch axle-mounted wheels and six-inch casters allow maneuvering in tight spaces. The fixed deck height of three inches keeps the centre of gravity low for stable transport.
