100 A air-cooled MIG gun
This Lincoln Electric Magnum 100L gun handles MIG and flux-cored welding at up to 100 amps. It uses a 40 percent duty cycle with CO2 shielding gas and accepts solid or flux-cored wire up to .035 in diameter. The 10 ft cable connects to Lincoln-style rear fittings for direct machine compatibility.
Straight handle with 45° fixed neck
The straight grip and 45-degree neck suit operators who prefer a fixed-angle torch for bench or light fabrication work. Welders needing water cooling, higher amperage, a rotatable neck or a curved handle should consider other models.
Lincoln rear connection
The gun terminates in a Lincoln-specific rear connector, so it fits compatible Lincoln power sources without adapters. Buyers with Miller, Tweco or Euro-style feeders will need a different gun or a separate adapter kit.

Questions about this item
How often will the Magnum 100A contact tips need replacing on this gun?
Tip life depends on wire quality and amperage used; the gun accepts Magnum 100A series tips which are widely available and simple to swap without tools.
At 100 A output how long can I weld continuously before the 40 % duty cycle forces a pause?
At the rated 100 A the gun runs for four minutes out of every ten; exceeding that amperage shortens the on-time further.
Does the air-cooled cable get too hot to hold during all-day production welding?
The air-cooled design relies on ambient airflow; at the 40 % duty cycle the handle stays comfortable, but sustained high-amperage runs will warm the cable noticeably.
