The Linear FM139 is a wired electromagnetic wand designed to detect departing vehicles at gates or driveways. It connects to compatible gate operators or access-control boards using the supplied 50 ft cable. Installers working on residential or light-commercial entry points will find the 8V to 32V AC or 8V to 26V DC operating range suited to standard low-voltage power supplies.

Sustained Detection Behaviour

The sensor maintains a continuous electromagnetic field along its 16 3/4 in length, triggering an output whenever a metal mass passes through the zone. Because the field is always active, the unit responds to queued traffic without the recovery delay that can affect pulsed or inductive-loop alternatives. The wide voltage tolerance helps prevent false drops during brown-outs or long cable runs.

Rugged Housing and Mounting

A black weather-resistant enclosure protects the electronics from rain, dust and temperature swings typical of outdoor gate posts. The wand’s slim 1 3/4 in profile allows it to sit flush against a post or bollard without protruding into the traffic lane. Pre-drilled mounting tabs accept standard hardware, and the fixed 50 ft cable eliminates splice points that could corrode over time.
