Link Dream Toslink Optical Cable 6 Feet

The Link Dream Toslink cable carries digital audio over a 6-foot fibre-optic link. It connects sound bars, TVs, home-theatre receivers, game consoles and Blu-ray players that have an optical or S/PDIF port. The 24 gold-plated connectors resist corrosion for a reliable connection. This cable suits anyone needing a straightforward digital audio link between compatible devices.

Nylon Braided Jacket Withstands Daily Handling

A tough nylon braid covers the lightweight PVC outer layer, giving the cable a lint-free, abrasion-resistant finish that survives repeated routing behind furniture. Removable rubber caps protect both Toslink tips from dust and oxidation when the cable is unplugged. The cubed aluminium-alloy shells provide a secure grip for insertion and removal. These mechanical details keep the optical core intact during long-term use.

24 Gold-Plated Connectors Deliver Stable Signal

The premium optical fibre core and 24 gold-plated plugs transmit compressed 5.1 to 7.1 surround sound without electrical interference. The gold plating maintains low contact resistance over time, preserving signal integrity for multi-channel audio. Buyers who need longer runs or analogue RCA connections will need a different cable type.

Questions about this item

Does the 6-foot length add any signal loss or heat when the cable runs all day?

The optical fiber core carries light instead of electricity, so there is no electrical heat and no signal degradation over the 6-foot distance during continuous use.

What ports must my sound bar or TV already have for this cable to plug in?

Both devices need a Toslink optical or S/PDIF port; the cable’s gold-plated connectors fit those square-shaped sockets directly.

Will the cubed aluminum shell and removable caps still fit snugly on older consoles like the PS3 or Xbox 360?

Yes, the Toslink connector shape has not changed, so the cable seats firmly in the optical ports on PS3, Xbox 360 and other legacy gear.
