Mesh system for whole-home coverage

The Linksys Atlas Pro 6 is a three-node Wi-Fi 6 mesh system rated at AX5400. Each node uses the Qualcomm Immersive Home 216 platform to provide dual-band connectivity across IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax standards. The kit targets households that need consistent wireless access in every room and outdoor area.

Suits large homes with many devices

This system supports more than 30 devices per node and uses 160 MHz channels on the 5 GHz band to reduce congestion. Buyers who need wired backhaul ports, tri-band operation or a single compact router should consider other configurations.

Three identical nodes simplify setup

The pack contains three matching units so any device can serve as the primary router or a satellite. No separate modem, switch or software licence is included, so owners must supply their own internet connection and manage the network through the Linksys app.

Questions about this item

Does this mesh system need an existing modem or internet gateway to provide Wi-Fi?

Yes, one Atlas Pro 6 node must connect by Ethernet to your modem or gateway; the other two nodes then link wirelessly to extend coverage.

Will my older 802.11n and 802.11ac devices connect to the Atlas Pro 6 nodes?

The system supports IEEE 802.11a, b, g, n and ac, so legacy laptops, phones and IoT gear will join the network at their own maximum speeds.

How can I confirm each node is delivering the advertised AX5400 performance after setup?

Use the Linksys app to run a speed test from a Wi-Fi 6 client near each node; sustained throughput approaching 5.4 Gbps aggregate indicates the 160 MHz channels and 6-stream connectivity are active.
