Android 13 8-inch car radio for GM trucks

This litillbuly unit is an Android 13 infotainment system with an 8-inch capacitive touchscreen, 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. It comes pre-loaded with North America maps and offers GPS navigation, stereo audio and Wi-Fi connectivity. The radio is designed to replace the factory head unit in compatible Chevrolet, GMC and Buick models from 2005 through 2014.

Upgrade from factory stereo

The jump is worth it when you want wireless CarPlay and Android Auto instead of USB-only projection, plus a modern Android 13 interface with app downloads and online map traffic. It also adds a larger 8-inch display compared to the original 7-inch screens found in many of these trucks and SUVs, improving visibility for navigation and media.

Verify dashboard opening

Check that your vehicle matches the listed model years and trim levels, including the Silverado 1500HD, 2500HD, 3500HD, Avalanche, Express, Impala, Suburban, Tahoe, GMC Sierra, Yukon, Acadia, Savana and Buick Enclave. Confirm the factory connector layout and SWC wiring are compatible before ordering, as some early 2007 Silverado Classic models are excluded.

Questions about this item

What dashboard opening does the 8 inch unit replace in a 2007‑2012 Silverado?

It fits the factory double‑DIN radio cavity in the listed 2007‑2012 Chevrolet and GMC trucks without a separate dash kit.

Which harness connection is most often missed during install?

The GPS antenna must be plugged into the dedicated port on the back of the radio before the unit is secured, otherwise navigation will not acquire satellites.

How is the pre‑loaded North America map refreshed after a few years?

Connect the stereo to Wi‑Fi, open the app store on Android 13, download a current map application and update the offline data over the air.
