9 inch Android 13 for Ford F150 2009-2012

This 9 inch car radio runs Android 13 with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. It fits Ford F150 models from 2009 through 2012 and includes a capacitive touchscreen. Pre-loaded maps cover North America and the unit supports wireless CarPlay and Android Auto via the Zlink5 app.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Drivers of compatible Ford F150 trucks who want a modern touchscreen interface with smartphone mirroring will find this a direct fit. Buyers with F150s from 2013 or 2014, or those needing more than 32 GB of internal storage, should look at other configurations.

Deciding specification: 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage

The 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage configuration determines how many apps you can run and how much media you can keep offline. If you plan to store large music libraries or run several navigation apps at once, consider the higher memory variants instead.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 2GB+32GB, 2GB+64GB or 4GB+64GB version for my F-150?

The 2GB+32GB model suits basic navigation and media; 2GB+64GB adds more app space; 4GB+64GB gives smoother multitasking with Android 13.

What does the 9 inch screen size mean once the unit is installed in a 2009-2012 Ford F-150?

The 9 inch capacitive touchscreen fills the factory dash opening, giving a large HD display for maps, CarPlay and Android Auto without blocking vents or controls.

How does the wireless CarPlay and Android Auto connection work and what does it rely on?

Pair your phone via Bluetooth, then connect to the unit's Wi-Fi through the Zlink5 app; both CarPlay and Android Auto run wirelessly over that link.
