LIVIN HDCC HDMI to USB C Adapter

The LIVIN HDCC adapter converts an HDMI male source into a USB C female display connection supporting 4K resolution at 60Hz. It is built for users who need to link laptops, consoles such as Switch, ROG Ally, Steam Deck, PS4, PS5 or Xbox, or other HDMI devices to portable monitors or AR glasses including XREAL and VITURE models. The aluminium alloy housing measures 2.3 x 1.2 x .4 in and weighs .08 lb with a 6.1 in cable.

Sustained operation with aluminium housing

The aluminium alloy case acts as a heat sink so the adapter maintains stable video transmission during extended sessions without throttling. Plug and play operation requires no drivers or software, so the link stays active as long as the source device supplies a valid HDMI signal. Firmware updates on the AR glasses may be needed for continued compatibility with XREAL One and Meta series.

Direction locked HDMI male to USB C female

This adapter only works in one direction from an HDMI output to a USB C display input and cannot be reversed or chained with other adapters. Audio and video both pass through when the source device supports simultaneous transmission. Buyers who need a USB C source to HDMI display connection or who want to daisy chain multiple converters will not be served by this part.

Questions about this item

Does the 2.3 by 1.2 by .4 inch aluminum body stay cool when driving a 4K@60Hz signal all day?

The aluminum alloy case acts as a heatsink, so the adapter dissipates warmth passively during continuous 4K@60Hz use without a fan.

What must my source device provide on its HDMI port for this adapter to work?

The HDMI source must supply a DisplayPort Alternate Mode video signal plus enough bus power for the adapter and the connected USB-C display.

Will the 6.1 inch cable reach from a docked Steam Deck to my XREAL Air 2 Pro without strain?

The short 6.1 inch tether is designed for close-coupled setups; you may need a USB-C extension if the glasses sit farther from the deck.
