Lizard Skins DSP Ultra Bat Grip Tape 1.8 mm Jet Black

Bat Grip Tape 1.8 mm Jet Black

This Lizard Skins DSP Ultra bat grip tape is a 1.8 mm thick wrap designed for baseball and softball players who want a secure, slip-resistant hold in every weather condition. The full adhesive back and pre-cut ends make installation straightforward on wood, aluminum or composite bats. Each roll measures 39 inches and includes a finish strip for a clean edge. It suits athletes who value vibration reduction and a relaxed, tension-free swing at the plate.

Durasoft Polymer Feel Under Repeated Swings

The Durasoft Polymer backing maintains its textured, non-slip surface through long practices and back-to-back games without becoming slick from sweat or rain. Vibration damping stays consistent even after hundreds of contacts, so hands remain comfortable during extended sessions. The ultra-lightweight construction adds no noticeable mass to the bat, preserving swing speed and balance over the course of a full season. Adhesion holds firm through temperature swings, preventing edges from lifting mid-game.

Upgrade From Worn Factory Grips

Players replacing dried-out, smooth or peeling stock grips will feel an immediate improvement in control and hand comfort. The 1.8 mm thickness adds cushioning without bulk, making the jump worthwhile for anyone who battles sting on mishits or struggles to keep a loose grip under pressure. It is not for hitters who prefer a thinner, direct-feedback wrap or who want a grip that mimics bare leather feel.
