Ultra-lightweight bat grip tape

The Lizard Skins DSP Ultra Outburst grip tape is a 1.1 mm thick wrap designed for baseball and softball bats. It also suits hockey and lacrosse sticks. The pre-cut ends and full adhesive backing make installation straightforward on wood, aluminum or composite bats. Each roll measures 39 inches and includes a finish strip for a clean edge.

Thin profile limits vibration damping

At 1.1 mm the tape adds minimal bulk, so players keep a close feel for the barrel. The textured pattern resists slipping in wet or dry conditions. Because the material is thin, it reduces sting less than thicker grips, which may matter on high-velocity impacts. Buyers who want maximum vibration absorption should consider a heavier wrap.

Check bat length and handle preference

Verify that 39 inches covers the handle length you prefer; some players wrap only the lower portion. Confirm the adhesive will bond to your specific bat finish, especially on glossy composite surfaces. The Orange Slime colour is fixed, so ensure it matches your team or personal style before ordering.
