Compatible Ring Camera Models

This 5W monocrystalline solar panel works with Ring Outdoor Cam Plus, Stick Up Cam Pro and Spotlight Cam Plus using the built-in USB-C connector. A USB-C to barrel-plug adapter is included for backwards compatibility with Ring Outdoor Cam (2nd and 3rd Generation) and Spotlight Cam Battery. The panel powers the camera directly for stable energy when the camera is set to battery mode.

Upgrading from USB Charging

The panel replaces periodic manual USB charging with continuous solar power, removing the need to take cameras down for recharging. The jump is worthwhile for cameras mounted where mains power is unavailable or ladder access is inconvenient, delivering uninterrupted operation through daylight hours and reducing maintenance visits.

Installation Requirements

The kit includes a 360° rotating bracket, screws, wire clips and a 10 ft cable, so you need a mounting surface that accepts the supplied hardware and enough unshaded exposure for the 7.2 in x 6.6 in panel. Verify your Ring camera model matches the compatibility list and that the camera firmware supports solar charging before ordering.
