Lockjaw 20-0313025 Synthetic Winch Line 5/16" 25 ft Gray

Winch Line for Recovery Work

The Lockjaw 20-0313025 is a synthetic winch line built for vehicle recovery and utility tasks. Its 5/16 inch diameter and 25 foot length suit lighter winches and confined anchor points. The integrated shackle removes the need for a separate connector, speeding up rigging when time matters. Buyers who need longer reach or higher breaking strength should look elsewhere.

Light Weight and Low Stretch

Synthetic construction keeps the line light enough to handle solo and reduces stored energy compared with steel cable. The gray jacket resists UV exposure during outdoor storage. Under normal winching the line runs quietly over fairleads without the sharp burrs that damage hands or paint. No power draw or thermal concerns apply to this passive component.

Behaviour Under Sustained Load

The 4400 lb working load limit defines the maximum steady pull the line is rated for. Synthetic fibres hold strength through repeated cycles but can degrade from abrasion, heat or chemical contact over long hauls. Inspect the full length after each heavy use; the one year manufacturer warranty covers defects but not wear from overload or improper rigging.
