Synthetic winch line rated for 5600 lb working load, 3/8 inch by 50 ft, with integrated shackle
The Lockjaw 20-0375050 is a synthetic winch line measuring 3/8 inch in diameter and 50 feet in length. It offers a working load limit of 5600 pounds and includes an integrated shackle. The gray and red line is designed for vehicle recovery and utility pulling tasks. It carries a one-year manufacturer warranty.
This line replaces traditional steel cable on compatible winches to reduce weight and eliminate sharp frays. The synthetic construction stores less kinetic energy, lowering the risk of dangerous recoil if the line fails. The jump is worth it for users who want easier handling and safer operation during recovery. It fits winches rated for 3/8 inch diameter rope.
Under continuous pulling the synthetic fibres resist kinking and remain flexible in cold conditions. The material does not develop the permanent bends that weaken steel cable over repeated cycles. Heat buildup on the winch drum is lower than with wire rope during long pulls. The integrated shackle stays attached, preventing loss during extended use.

Use a fairlead or hawse rated for 3/8 in diameter synthetic rope; metal roller fairleads can damage the fibres, so a smooth aluminium hawse is recommended.
Feed the bitter end through the drum anchor hole, secure the supplied set-screw or bolt, then pre-tension the first 5–6 wraps evenly so the line beds in without crossing.
Retire the line if you see cut strands, melted fibres, or abrasion exposing the core; replace the shackle pin if threads are deformed or the pin shows visible bending.
