Rubber Protectant Color Guard Red

Loctite 338130 is a red rubber protectant formulated as a construction film for automotive and general maintenance. It comes in a 14.5 fl oz sprayer and is rated for use on concrete, epoxy glass, fabric, fiberglass, foam, glass, masonry, metal, most plastics, rubber and wood.

Sprayer application and material compatibility

The sprayer delivers the protectant directly onto prepared surfaces without additional tools, freeing the user from brushes or rollers. It adheres to the listed substrates and meets USDA standards, so it fits into workflows that require compliant coatings on rubber and mixed-material assemblies.

Sustained exposure and dielectric performance

The film maintains integrity across an application temperature range of -30 to 200 degrees F and provides a dielectric strength of 11.8 kV/mm for electrical insulation. VOC content is 0.74 g/L and dry time is 4 hr, supporting consistent barrier properties during extended service. California Proposition 65 applies.
