High-Temperature Nickel Anti-Seize
Loctite 77124 is a copper-free nickel compound rated from -65 °F to 2400 °F. It prevents galling, seizing and corrosion on stainless steel and other metal fasteners in harsh environments. The brush-top can holds 8 oz of silver paste with a K value of 0.13 and specific gravity of 1.10.
Temperature and Chemical Limits
Continuous exposure above 2400 °F exceeds the rated range and can degrade the lubricating film. Flash point is greater than 200 °F, so open flames or hot work nearby require caution. The formula contains 2.47 percent VOC, which may restrict use in facilities with strict emission rules.
Brush-Top Application and Daily Use
The integrated brush allows direct, controlled coating on threads and mating surfaces without extra tools. Paste consistency resists run-off on vertical assemblies and stays in place during assembly. Silver colour makes coverage easy to inspect, while the copper-free composition avoids galvanic concerns on stainless components.

Questions about this item
Should I pick the 8 oz brush-top can or is another size available?
The listing shows an 8 oz brush-top can with part number 77124; no other sizes or packaging options appear in the data.
What does the -65 °F to 2400 °F range mean when I use it on exhaust bolts?
It stays effective from extreme cold up to 2400 °F, so exhaust and turbo hardware remain protected through full heat cycles.
How does the K value of 0.13 affect torque on stainless fasteners?
A K value of 0.13 indicates low friction, letting you reach target clamp load with less applied torque and reducing galling risk.
