LPS Force 842 Extremecondition A
This dry-film lubricant uses molybdenum disulfide to protect metal surfaces during assembly and break-in. It forms a thin, quick-drying layer that withstands extreme heat and pressure. The aerosol format suits maintenance teams working on cables, fasteners and sliding mechanisms. It is not designed for friction bearings or light-duty bearing applications.
Application and limitations
The spray can delivers the film directly onto threads, gears or cable strands without special tools. Surfaces should be clean so the coating adheres properly and resists water, chemicals, dust and dirt. Over-application can leave excess residue that attracts debris. The product is unsuitable for rolling-element bearings where a fluid film is required.
Capacity and operating envelope
Each can holds a fill amount of 11.00 oz within a 16 oz container weighing 1.10 lb. The coating remains effective up to 842.0 F (450 C) and resists loads of 100,000 psi (6890 Bars). Beyond those limits the film degrades and seizure protection is lost. Grey colour helps confirm even coverage during inspection.

Questions about this item
How can I confirm the lubricant is performing correctly after application?
The film should appear gray, feel dry quickly, and resist water, chemicals, dust and dirt while preventing seizure under loads up to 100,000 psi and temperatures up to 842 F.
What does the 14 oz aerosol can contain and is any extra equipment required?
The can delivers 11.00 oz of molybdenum-disulfide dry film; no additional tools or accessories are needed for application.
Which version of this lubricant should I select for high-temperature assembly work?
The Force 842 Extremecondition A formula is rated to 842 F (450 C) and 100,000 psi, making it the correct choice for assembly and break-in under extreme heat and pressure.
