In-Wall Speaker Wire CL2 Rated

The Logico 16AWG 2-conductor cable carries a CL2 flame-retardant rating for safe installation inside walls and between floors. Its white PVC jacket protects the conductors while meeting building-code requirements for in-wall runs. The 500-foot pull box simplifies long pulls across multiple rooms.

16AWG Gauge Determines Run Length

The 16-gauge thickness sets the practical distance this wire can cover without excessive signal loss. Installers should match the gauge to the planned speaker runs and amplifier power rather than relying on a single rule of thumb. The 152-meter length supplies enough cable for whole-house audio projects.

High Strand Count Improves Handling

A high strand-count copper-clad aluminium construction makes the cable very flexible and resistant to kinking during pulls through studs and conduit. Red and black insulation on the two conductors speeds polarity identification at each termination point. The pull-box packaging keeps the jacket clean and tangle-free on the job site.

Questions about this item

How does 16 AWG thickness affect real-world speaker runs?

At 16 AWG the wire handles typical home-audio lengths with low resistance, so signal loss stays minimal for most living-room and whole-house setups.

What does the CL2 rating actually allow for installation?

CL2 means the cable meets fire-safety codes for in-wall and between-floor runs, so you can pull it through studs and joists without extra conduit.

What physical space does the 500 ft pull box need?

The box fits on a shelf or floor and feeds out through a built-in opening, letting you pull cable straight through walls without wrestling a loose coil.
