A 12-port Cat5e UTP patch panel with 110 IDC termination, T568A/B wiring, 50-micron gold contacts and an included surface-mount bracket
The Logico Cat5e UTP 12 Port Mini Patch Panel provides a compact termination point for up to twelve twisted-pair cables. It is designed for small offices, home labs or wall-mounted network cabinets where space is limited and a full-size rack panel is unnecessary. The 110 IDC punch-down blocks accept both T568A and T568B wiring schemes for flexible installation.
Each port uses 110-style insulation-displacement contacts that accept solid conductors from 23 to 26 AWG without stripping. Contacts carry 50 microns of gold plating to maintain low-resistance connections over repeated patching cycles. The panel meets or exceeds all EIA/TIA standards for Cat5e performance and carries ETL listing for safety compliance.
Under continuous use the high-density port arrangement keeps cable management tidy while the surface-mount bracket secures the unit directly to a wall or backboard. The fixed 12-port layout does not expand, so installers needing more drops must add a second panel. Solid-conductor termination is permanent; the panel is not suited for frequent re-patching with stranded patch cords.

Use a 110 punch-down tool to seat each conductor fully into the IDC slots, then verify every wire is flush; the step most often missed is confirming the T568A or T568B colour order before locking the cover.
The 50-micron gold plating on the contacts resists oxidation, so no routine cleaning is required; simply re-terminate any port that shows intermittent connectivity after a cable move.
The IDC blocks accept solid conductors from 23 to 26 AWG; using wire thinner than 26 AWG or stranded cable can cause poor contact and is the first limit you will hit.
