Mechanical keyboard for daily typing

The Logitech K845 is a full-size corded keyboard with 104 keys and a graphite aluminum top case. It connects through a USB Type-C interface and uses clicky Blue mechanical switches tested to 50 million clicks. Adjustable tilt legs offer a 4 to 8 degree typing angle for extended comfort.

Sustained typing feel and noise profile

Blue switches deliver a distinct click and tactile bump on every keystroke, so feedback remains consistent during long sessions. The aluminum chassis adds rigidity that prevents flex when typing at speed. White backlighting with five selectable patterns stays visible in low light without increasing power draw.

USB-C wired connection limits

The fixed USB Type-C cable ties the keyboard to a single host and supplies all power for illumination. No wireless option, Bluetooth pairing, or battery is present, so mobility ends at the cable length. The standard layout fits typical desk space but offers no macro keys or dedicated media controls beyond the FN row.

Questions about this item

How much heat or fan noise does the K845 produce during all-day use?

The K845 is a passive mechanical keyboard with no fans or active cooling, so it generates no audible fan noise and negligible heat during extended typing sessions.

Which host port and cable does the 920-009860 require to operate?

It connects via a fixed USB Type-C cable and needs a host USB-C port or a USB-C-to-A adapter for older ports.

Will the blue-switch K845 work alongside my legacy PS/2 keyboard on the same PC?

Yes — the K845 uses a standard USB HID interface, so it coexists with PS/2 or other USB keyboards without driver conflicts.
