It is built for teams that want to run any video conferencing service on their own device while using the room's AV equipment. Windows, macOS and Chrome OS laptops with a USB 3.0 Type A or Type C port are supported. The hub delivers up to 60 watts of USB Power Delivery to keep the laptop charged during long sessions.

Hub and extender placement

The Swytch Hub measures 164 by 90 by 27.4 millimetres and the Swytch Extender 120 by 120 by 27.4 millimetres. Both units require a power connection and link to each other over a USB 3.0 Type C cable. The hub provides HDMI 2.0 outputs for the room display and an optional meeting room computer, plus USB 3.0 Type A for the conference camera.
