One-Touch Meeting Console

The Logitech 960-001094 SmartDock is a video conferencing kit designed for meeting rooms that run Skype for Business. It provides a dedicated AV console that enables one-touch join and streamlined collaboration for teams huddling around a shared display. The unit secures a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 with Intel Core i5 and adds connectivity without cable clutter.

Surface Pro 4 Locking Requirement

This device only functions when a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 with Intel Core i5 is locked into its pivoting, cast-metal support platform. The tablet supplies the compute engine for the Skype for Business experience, so buyers without that exact hardware cannot use the SmartDock at all.

Dual Display And Peripheral Hub

Dual 1080p display ports drive two screens while an HDMI input accepts 1080p60 content sharing from a laptop or wireless presenter. Three USB 3.1 type A ports connect Logitech ConferenceCams or other AV peripherals, and Gigabit Ethernet plus a headset mini-plug complete the wired infrastructure. An IR motion sensor wakes the system for plug-and-play camera setup.

Questions about this item

What does the 1080p60 HDMI input actually let me share in a meeting?

You can feed a 1080p source at 60 frames per second into the dock so that laptop screens, documents or media appear on the room display without extra conversion steps.

Which ports on the SmartDock carry the 3.1 data rate and how many are there?

Three USB Type-A ports run at the 3.1 specification, giving you high-speed connections for cameras, speakerphones or storage devices simultaneously.

How does the cast-metal platform secure the required Surface Pro 4?

The pivoting metal cradle physically locks the tablet in place while still allowing angle adjustment for the built-in camera.
