Product identity

The Logitech 961-000508 Mevo Core is a wireless live-streaming camera built around a Micro Four Thirds sensor. It records and streams at 3840 x 2160 resolution with autofocus and a built-in three-microphone array for creators who need portable, app-controlled multicam production.

Upgrade path

It replaces fixed-lens webcams and tethered camcorders when you require interchangeable optics and untethered operation. The jump is worth it for producers who want to mix multiple angles over Wireless LAN without running cables to a capture device.

Setup checklist

Verify that your streaming platform accepts 4K30p input and that your mobile device or computer can run the Mevo Multicam app for camera control. Confirm you have Micro Four Thirds lenses for the mount and a way to charge the internal battery between sessions.

Questions about this item

What lens mount does the Mevo Core use for interchangeable lenses?

The camera uses the Micro Four Thirds mount, so any MFT-compatible lens can be attached directly.

How do you connect multiple Mevo Core cameras for a multi-camera stream?

Add each camera in the Mevo Multicam app over your wireless LAN; the app then lets you switch angles live during the broadcast.

How long can the internal battery run before it needs recharging or replacement?

Up to six hours when streaming at 1080p30; higher resolutions will reduce that runtime.
