Rally Bar Appliance for Medium Rooms

The Logitech 991-000419 bundles the Rally Bar video appliance with a Tap IP touch controller, delivering a dedicated Android-based system for Zoom Rooms, RingCentral and Microsoft Teams in medium-sized meeting spaces. It integrates camera, speakers and microphones into a single graphite unit that mounts near the display.

Touch Controller and Wireless Flexibility

The included Tap IP provides a 1280 x 800 touch-screen for meeting control, room scheduling and whiteboarding directly at the table. Connectivity Technology covers both Wired Ethernet and Wi-Fi, so the appliance can join the network via cable or wireless link without extra adapters.

1280 x 800 Capture and Fixed Display Angle

Digital Video Capture Resolution tops out at 1280 x 800, limiting recorded or streamed content to 720p-class detail even if the source is higher. Supported Display Graphics specify a diagonal screen with 14 display angle, meaning the camera’s field of view is optimised for one mounting position and may not cover wider room layouts.

Questions about this item

Does the Rally Bar require any user-serviceable parts or periodic calibration for the 14-degree camera angle?

The 14-degree camera angle is fixed and the appliance has no user-serviceable parts; Logitech recommends only firmware updates via the management portal for ongoing performance.

What limits continuous all-day operation — thermal throttling, network bandwidth, or the 1280 x 800 capture pipeline?

The 1280 x 800 capture pipeline sets the sustained processing ceiling; thermal design and gigabit Ethernet are rated for continuous duty without throttling.

How much heat and fan noise does the combined Rally Bar and Tap IP produce when running meetings back-to-back?

The fanless Tap IP is silent; the Rally Bar uses a low-speed fan that stays inaudible at normal room distance while drawing steady power for speakers and camera.
