Logitech C925e 1080p 30fps Webcam

The Logitech C925e is a new webcam that captures full high-definition video at 1080p resolution and 30 frames per second. It features a wide 78-degree diagonal field of view, dual stereo microphones with noise reduction and an integrated privacy shade. The universal clip mounts on a monitor or tripod, and USB 2.0 connectivity works with Windows, Mac and Linux systems.

Suitable for video calls and small-group meetings

This webcam suits professionals who need reliable 1080p video for conferencing apps such as Skype for Business, Microsoft Lync 2013, Cisco Jabber and WebEx. Automatic low-light correction improves image quality in dim or backlit conditions. Buyers who need higher frame rates, a wider field of view for large rooms, or advanced streaming features should consider other options.

30 fps at 1080p decides the use case

The fixed 30 frames per second at 1920 x 1080 resolution determines whether this camera matches your workflow. It delivers smooth video for standard meetings and calls but does not support faster capture for high-motion content. Verify that your conferencing software and platform work comfortably at this frame rate before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Does the integrated privacy shade on the C925e wear out or need replacement after frequent use?

The built‑in privacy shade is a mechanical sliding cover with no electronic parts; it requires no scheduled replacement and only occasional cleaning if dust builds up.

What limits continuous 1080p 30 fps streaming on the C925e during long calls?

The USB 2.0 connection caps sustained bandwidth, so extended 1080p sessions may drop frames or revert to 720p if the host controller is busy.

How much heat or fan noise does the C925e produce when left running all day?

The webcam has no fan and draws minimal power over USB 2.0; it stays barely warm to the touch and adds no audible noise during all‑day operation.
